* The Howlers are currently handing ass kicking tickets at the recording studio !

We had a chance to catch up with the guys for a breif moment before it was our turn for the ass kicking and we got the following news out of the band:

We are working on a new full length album called “Watch The World Die” which we plan to release early next year! We will also be posting 2 new songs up from the album to give you all a taste of what to expect. A song called “Wake Up” and “Watch The World Die” as well as a new and, we think, improved version of “Signs Of The Living. ” We hope you guys dig them and we will definately let everyone know as soon as the songs will be up and it will be sometime this weekend for sure!

* The Limit Club have just released a BRAND New song !!

* On the 31st Of March, super classic psychos Grave Stompers have released their anniversary 7″ entitled OLDSCHOOL DELUXE!

It’s a limited edition (500 copies) in WHITE (!) vinyl containing four tracks:

* Munich after Midnight
* Necromancer
* Midnight SickSickSix
* Halloween in Haddonfield.

All titles were exclusively recorded for this record. If your interested you can place any orders through their website at www.gravestompers.com.

Munich after Midnight will be put on the bands upcoming album Spooked, Cursed and Haunted in a spiffy and different alternate version. The album will be released later this year for all to get !

* So-Cal speed demons, The Rocketz, have made a rather interesting announcement just a few days ago when they announced that they are seeking a bassist to take up the vacant spot left by Veteran TMac.

Tony had this to stay as an official statement from the band members that remain:

TMac has decided to stick close to home to be with his Family and continue slappin bass for our close friends and family The Moonlight Cruisers.
It’s all love and he will always be a Rocketz Family member.
We will be gigging and touring heavy through 2008 and 2009
and would like to quit using our assortment of back up bassists
who are all awesome and unfortunately committed to their own bands.

I know many of you are anxiously waiting for this fiendish offering from The Nightshift, and although we do not have a ” exact date as of yet, we can promise it wont be long, we are hoping to have “Los Muertos” out in June for sure. so please hold on, and check back for detailed updates and information on an exact date of release.

Trust me when I say once you hear this mind blowing and fiendishly horrifing album you WILL say, it was worth the wait!!!

Faraway Boys – Pirate Ship Set Sail

Are you looking for something new; something fresh; maybe a little something you can jam under any circumstance? Well, my friends, look no further. Our boys from Cali have gotten it right on the very first try. Faraway Boys have been at it for a while, & I’ve been anxiously awaiting this release. Just let it play one time through, & you’ll understand why. Upon pressing play, not only did I want to hear what’s next, I wanted to hear every song again. Depending on whom you ask, a flawless release never happens; but this is as close as I’ve ever seen. Being that this is their first full-length release, I expect that we’ll be seeing & hearing a lot more from these good fellows.

Devil Sits Shotgun – Voices of the Dead

Voices of the Dead is an awesome example of modern rockabilly. Although it is a debut album, the guys did one hell of a job throwing it together. There’s not a track on here that I would change if it came across the speakers. Despite the fact that Devil Sits Shotgun has only been together for a short while, the album does not reflect that at all. This release is definitely one for fans of music with a big ol’ beat. Also, it has a tribute to fallen friends that is simply great! If you are reading this, I highly suggest you support this band & buy the CD. You won’t be disappointed…

Believe it or not, I went to a Chevelle, Ten Years, & Seether concert this weekend…Don’t laugh: I was invited. Chevelle rocked the fuck out, but those mainstreamers didn’t know what to do when I started wrecking! More interviews to come, kiddies. Spread the disease!
