Alright, kiddies, I know alot of y’all have been waiting on this one. Rest assured that your patience is well rewarded. The third addition from the world’s greatest horror rock band is their best yet. They really picked up the pace for this release without losing that specific sound that all Calabrese fans cannot mistake. There is no doubt that some of the songs you’ll hear will get lodge themselves firmly in your brain after a good listen. The guys are going to hate me for saying this but a lot of the tunes are really catchy (for lack of a better word). Make no mistake, though. The album as a whole has a hard, fast, ass-kicking rock-n-roll feel to it. I find myself hitting the repeat button on almost every song to hear it one more time before going on to the next one. All three brothers are exceptionally talented, so naturally the music is great; It sounds as though Davey’s drumset came alive during recording and he was intent on beating it to death. If you haven’t heard of Calabrese you need to get yourself familiar, and this CD is a great way to start. Oh, and for all you die hard fans there is an insider piece of info as a special treat at the end of the disk.
