Ladies and gentlemen, your attention please!…….. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ……. Yeah whatever!!!! Guess what?!? Yep, your favourite show is back on, it has been a long time for sure, and I have missed you guys! But first and foremost, I’d like to say a great big thank you to all you guys and dolls who have showed me their support in the past few months, but it s all behind now, let’s turn the page, chin up and walk forward again…..
Ok so it’s back, it was supposed to be last week and/but, technical difficulties made it impossible to do…. soooo!!! Instead of dropping everything, I carried on regardless to make sure you people out there would get your long awaited mental stimulation and satisfaction.
Basically, on the 20th edition of PsychoPlanet Radio, you don’t hear me, that was the last of the technicalities to let me down but!…. but, I don’t stop there! Right enough I had to rethink the whole podcast and actually, I came up trumps for my host and very good friend Barry at Wreckhouse Radio (for being so patient with my lack of presence of late), and in response to the excellent compilation CD produced by Wreckhouse Radio, and all for a good cause I say, which is entitled :†verse one: death of radio “. Thanks Barry it arrived well and the poster is now framed in the music room mmwwwaaahhhhhhh .
So no voice overs then eh! And you can’t exactly define Psychobilly as lounge music can you?!?! Well I did, and I created PPR 20 as the “PSYCHOBILLY LOUNGE†(this is where I respond to Wreckhouse Radio’s compilation CD). A lounge can be found in a bar, at an airport, at a music venue,… in fact anywhere where you’ re supposed to sit down and relax on a pina colada or should I say a Pineda colada he he… Anyway, this very peculiar lounge will transport you to the very different areas of psychobilly, and I must say that the bestest one is the dark room which will be announced by a series of mad evil laughter. It will take you down to the hell’s pits guts, ragdoll you about, poke yer eyes and skullfuck ya before spitting you back out with the same mad evil laughter ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !!! still wanna listen, fair enough, you’ ve been warned he he
Ok, back to this realm for a minute… PsychoPlanet Radio will now be a monthly fix, as after intensive survey work about the show, it appears that every week is a little tad too much for some people to keep up with, yeah we all have busy lives ain’t we? And the other reason is that I’ve decided to become a pirate… Uh!?!? Yep a pirate surfin’ the internet waves of Myspace on the look out for new bands with new tunes and believe you me there’s thousand s of them out there that need to be introduced to the mad world of Psychobilly, and please no I don’t intend to become the scene’s superhero… nope! ‘coz Superman is gay, Spiderman is just a teenage freak and Batman is only a goth wannabe! (as very well said by Kim Nekroman)
Until then, enjoy the Psychobilly Lounge, push the furnitures, kick the fuck out of mum and dad, kill the fuckin’ budgie… let’s wreck!!!!!!
